Do you remember falling in love with cinema?
Glasgow Youth Film Festival is one of the UK’s most innovative festivals for young audiences and the only film festival in Scotland where young people are involved in all stages of production - from selecting the films, designing logos and brochures, directing a trailer and even handling event management.
This year almost 7,000 people attended GYFF public and school events across Glasgow. The festival challenges negative perceptions of young people in Glasgow and offers exciting opportunities for under 18s to create films, attend premieres and meet filmmakers.
As part of The Big Arts Give Christmas Challenge, you can help the dedicated young people behind GYFF achieve their cinematic ambitions by kindly donating to their Festival. They need to raise £13,500. Donations large or small (like the price of a GFT ticket!) are all crucial. If we can secure £7,000 through your support, we stand a chance of attracting further funds from Arts & Business to help us reach our target of £13,500.
Your kind support will ensure the future of the Glasgow Youth Film Festival for young audiences across the West of Scotland.
All donations for the Christmas Challenge have to be made during 6 – 10 December but you still can pledge your contribution now by contacting Paul Macgregor, Learning Projects Coordinator, by calling 0141 352 8613 or emailing info@gft.org.uk
