The Glasgow Youth Film Festival 2010 is calling for entries for the One-Minute Filmmaking Competition for young people in association with Chew TV
The competition is open to young people aged 14-19 years old, as individuals or in group, across the whole of Scotland.
You can enter an edited version of a film you've already made or make a one-minute film especially for the competition. The film can be made on any format, including your mobile phone/ video-camera/ stop-animation/ Super8… just use your imagination! But please check Chew TV’s submission guidelines for information on file types to upload.
This year entries will be split into two separate categories: Groups and Individuals. The overall winner for the Individual category will win a brand new iPod Touch while the overall Group winner will win filmmaking software to create another masterpiece. 4 runners up will receive £50 in Fopp Vouchers.
The best films will be shown on the big screen at a special awards ceremony during the Glasgow Youth Film Festival 2010. A panel made up of film industry experts will judge the competition and a special award will be given to the most viewed film. The winners will be invited to discuss how they made their award winning films.
