Glasgow Youth Film Festival is the only film festival in the Scotland where young people are involved at all stages of festival production – from selecting all the cool films to screen to deciding on publicity, design and even handling event management. They’re a fun bunch!

Why did you join the GYFF Young Team: I love films and I wanted to do something different. I never thought I'd be involved in something like GYFF and now I am!
Most excited about – The Scouting Book for Boys and meeting Thomas Turgoose!

Why did you join the GYFF Young Team: I saw the wee ad in the GFT brochure and thought it would be fun (which it is!).
Favourite moment so far: When we went for hot chocolate after watching some new films.
Most excited about: My friends and other young people seeing the films we've chosen.

Why did you join the GYFF Young Team? Molly asked me to come and it sounded cool.

Favourite moment so far: I like the artistic ingenuity and political messages that can be said through film. (Plus, being bribed by Milky Ways worked like a charm.)

Why did you join the GYFF Young Team My boyfriend helped last year and told me about it. I thought it sounded pretty fun!

Why did you join the GYFF Young Team: I wanted to be involved in the GFT and find out more about the art of film and cinema.
Favourite moment so far: It’s all been good! If I had to pick one moment it would have to be walking through town dressed up all funky and absurd with business men throwing us looks of bewilderment, mild amusement or disdain, while making our festival trailer.
Most Excited about: Being able to proudly say, "I helped organise this."

Why did you join the GYFF Young Team: I love films and world cinema, and wanted to take part in the GYFF.
Favourite moment so far: Seeing the trailer for the GYFF.
Most Excited about: Taking part in the GYFF and meeting Joe Dempsie and Ben Schiffer from Skins.

Why did you join the GYFF Young Team? I did work experience at the GFT and got asked to join. I wanted to watch awesome new films and meet new people.
Favourite moment so far: Hearing the final lineup! And some good laughs along the way.
Most excited about: The really cool films that have been chosen and the special guests that will be joining us… Joe Dempsie from Skins and Thomas Turgoose.
