Welcome to the website of the Glasgow Film Festival 2009.
We are in a celebratory mood, and all are invited to join us. Why? Well, aside from the fact that we will be screening exceptional films, welcoming great guests and enjoying inspiring events, 2009 marks our fifth birthday.
What better way to celebrate than with more movies, more parties, more galas, more guests and more ways to spend little money on lots of fun!
GFF is the best place to see exciting and innovative films, old and new. Whether you are a passionate cineaste, a casual filmgoer, or even looking to break into the industry, come and join us and we’ll see you in the cinema!

Now in its fifth year, the annual Glasgow Film Festival brings together cinema from around the world, past and present, old and new talent. Every year, the festival’s scale and reputation grows, which requires increased perseverance and commitment, not to mention your assistance.
GFF09 looks set to be the best fest so far. Why? Well, apart from the usual star guests and premieres, we will be receiving YOUR help. That is, if you think you’re up to the task…
