An award-winning Valeria Golino gives one of the best performances of her career in this soulful romance from writer/director Giuseppe Piccioni. Beautifully observed and impeccably played, the film draws you into the bond that grows between two people after a chance meeting. Guido is a married novelist who has just been nominated for a coveted literary prize. Seeking a distraction, he decides to take lessons from his daughter’s swimming instructor. He can’t get her out of his mind but when he invites her out he discovers that she is on day release from a prison sentence for a crime of passion.
