Do It Again
Geoff Edgers is a newspaper reporter fearing the onset of his 40th birthday when he decides to find the surviving members of the Kinks – and convince them to reunite. The words ‘Tall’ and ‘Order’ come to mind, but also the words ‘Sunny’ and ‘Afternoon’ – just one of the many beautiful tracks from an impressive back catalogue. Despite the difficulty of the task, Geoff secures meetings with other Kinks fans including Sting, REM guitarist Peter Buck and Zooey Deschanel. The film is made by the capable hands of Robert Patton-Spruill, who also made the Public Enemy documentary, Welcome to the Terrordrome.
