Beyond The Pole
As urgent as An Inconvenient Truth but with a few more belly laughs, Beyond The Pole is a comical mockumentary with an eco-agenda. Determined to make their contribution to the fight against global warming, amateur explorers Stephen Mangan and Rhys Thomas decide to embark on the first carbon neutral, vegetarian and organic expedition to the North Pole. The fact that they have no experience or common sense is not going to stop them. Confronted by polar bears, cocky Norwegian rivals and the eerie, unsettling vistas of endless snow they discover the high price of activism.
We are delighted to welcome Rosie Cavaliero, Rhys Thomas, Neil Warhurst and Director David Williams who will introduce the screening followed by a short Q&A session.
Thanks to Shooting Pictures.
