Notorious
Alfred Hitchcock offers one of his most polished romantic thrillers in which Cary Grant is partnered by one of his favourite co-stars, Ingrid Bergman. Grant is an American agent hot on the trail of a dastardly international conspiracy. Party girl Bergman is the daughter of a convicted spy given a chance to redeem herself by working undercover to seduce Nazi agent Claude Rains. The more she risks her life, the more the helpless Grant falls in love with her. The result is a tense cloak and dagger mystery with an electric chemistry between the two stars and scene-stealing villainy from an Oscar-nominated Rains. Unmissable.
