Glasgow Film Festival 2011 is now open for submissions. The Festival welcomes features, shorts and work in all genres.

Submission Fees/Postal Deadlines

Shorts
Early Bird £15 until Friday 30 July
Regular £20 until Thursday 30 September
Late £30 until Friday 29 October

Features
Early Bird £35 until Friday 30 July
Regular £40 until Thursday 30 September
Late £50 until Friday 29 October

Please note these deadlines are for postmark and payment of submission fees.

Summary of Guidelines

The Glasgow Film Festival will take place from 17 - 27 February 2011 in Glasgow.
 
The Festival is committed to screening high quality new features, short length film and video work in all genres from around the world.
 
The Glasgow Film Festival 2011 will have a strand dedicated to Music films (showcasing the sounds, culture and influences of music and musicians - fiction and non fiction)
 
The Glasgow Film Festival 2011 will have a strand dedicated to Documentaries.
 
The Glasgow Film Festival 2011 will have a strand dedicated to Indian Cinema.
 
The Glasgow Short Film Festival 2011 is held on the 18 - 20th February and curated by The Magic Lantern.
 
The ‘Best International Short’ Award is selected from all successful international submissions.

All submitted films should have been completed after October 2009.

GFF regard a short film as 45 minutes or under and a feature film as over 45 minutes.

The final selection of all films presented at the Festival and their placement in the programme is the responsibility of the Co-Directors.
